Zob's Toy Review Poll

What types of toy reviews would my regular readers enjoy seeing me focus on in the future?

a) Reviews of regular Transformers toys currently on the market
b) Retro reviews of older toys
c) Reviews of Transformers-related merchandise (Robot Heroes, Mighty Muggs, etc.)

Thanks for your feedback!

  1. Well, I have enjoyed all three, but it's the current toys and merchandise that I find most valuable. The reason is simple: it helps guide my purchasing decisions.

  2. I'm not so bothered about c) I'm not usually that into the more ancillary lines. I'll read an enjoy anything you do though, really. I'm probably most fond of the reviews of newer toys, if I had to state a preference.

  3. Either a or b. Or even comparing older toys to their current version.

  4. Recent stuff with context of / comparisons to older stuff thrown in.

  5. I enjoy reading any reviews you do. I actually tend to AVOID option a) in my own reviews because I don't have quite the level of background information that would allow me to compete with reviews like yours. By sticking to option b) (mostly), I figure I'm able to make my own contribution without being crowded out by the similar stuff elsewhere.

  6. Regular stuff currently on the market. Helps me to know where to funnel my money.

  7. I strongly prefer a completely random mix (and I eagerly await an eventual review of all 10 toys to carry the name Mudflap by 2012).

  8. I've been really enjoying your retro material. I like the new stuff too, and use it to help with my puchases. Do we really have to chose one or the other?

  9. Anonymous——no, I'm not requiring everyone to choose one over the other. I just wanted to get a feel for what everyone wanted to see from me in the future.

It seems like a varied approach is called for, so that's what I'll continue to do. Thanks for the feedback, everyone!
