(Tformers.com has the images saved here). If whoever won that auction would get a nice scan of that, it could be cleaned up (since there's some flash glare on this one)... wow. It's still the only thing I know of to turn up of the female Autobot models, but it's something... :oAngieSnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9163141447241149534.post-49221521351222648442009-02-23T02:51:00.000-08:002009-02-23T02:51:00.000-08:00There are some models in the Japanese Generations ...There are some models in the Japanese Generations book for the females, but those were from the Bon Bon TV magazine I think. There is an animation model for Ariel in there though, if memory serves (I'm at work now so I can't verify). Also, if you look at stills from "The Search for Alpha Trion", you'll see there are a couple of more female Autobot designs that only appear in background scenes. One for instance, was orange and blue and had a huge "skirt" :)Hanshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03442388706616569265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9163141447241149534.post-16127075991233236842009-02-20T07:56:00.000-08:002009-02-20T07:56:00.000-08:00Believe me, AngieS, if I had the fembots, I'd have...Believe me, AngieS, if I had the fembots, I'd have included them in The Ark. I hesitate to say that they're lost forever, but they certainly haven't shown up yet. I've been fortunate enough to correspond with folks like Bob Budiansky, Paul Davids and Dell Barras, which is how I've gotten so many rare gems. I hope that if I'm persistent, some day I'll meet the guy who saved the fembot models.

BTW, as a fellow model sheet collector, you wouldn't happen to have any models that you haven't seen in either Ark book, would you? I'm working on the Ark Omnibus edition, and have a few extra pages to play with. Drop me a line if you've got any material that I might be able to use.Jimtronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18138709079942253485noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9163141447241149534.post-77722844567323961692009-02-20T02:48:00.000-08:002009-02-20T02:48:00.000-08:00One thing that's been bothering me... have the mod...One thing that's been bothering me... have the model sheets of the female Autobots from "The Search For Alpha Trion" been lost? All of them? :\ Those would be the penultimate item of my collection of model sheet images. :) I was disappointed not to see them in the first Ark book, but that was an exhaustive compilation (Devcon, there's an obscure one, too, I was impressed to see him in there), and I figured they'd have been there, if you'd managed to find them?

Anyway, I enjoy the addendums, I love model sheet compilations! Thanks for the add-ons! :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9163141447241149534.post-86190616433216403912009-02-19T10:34:00.000-08:002009-02-19T10:34:00.000-08:00Wow, that's a seriously dynamic illustration. The Japanese version is so much more elegant.Zobovorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08937442132663140091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9163141447241149534.post-53332576699421249852009-02-19T07:16:00.000-08:002009-02-19T07:16:00.000-08:00Both Ark books hold the title of "Carlos favourite...Both Ark books hold the title of "Carlos favourite TF books ever" (with he Generations Deluxe as well), and you say this will be your best? Well I was SO going to buy it, now I may have to, uhm... buy more than one or something ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9163141447241149534.post-12899447647121166302009-02-18T00:24:00.000-08:002009-02-18T00:24:00.000-08:00Have no fear, monkeytoad, I'll have quite a few De...Have no fear, monkeytoad, I'll have quite a few Derrick Wyatt sketches in the book. As for Slugslinger, he was in both The Rebirth and The Headmasters with the same character model, though the transform comes to me from Japan.

When I was a kid, he was one of my favorite toys. In my personal canon, he was another one of Unicron's minions, an upgrade for Ramjet. (Misfire was Thrust and Triggerhappy was Dirge, if anyone's wondering.) Futuristic Decepticon jets, fought alongside Cyclonus and Scourge, it seemed pretty natural.Jimtronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18138709079942253485noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9163141447241149534.post-83461648131392464572009-02-17T23:34:00.000-08:002009-02-17T23:34:00.000-08:00Tec, you took the words right out of my mouth :)I ...Tec, you took the words right out of my mouth :)
I think that's a very interesting Gerwalk (or 'Guardian' for the Robotech fans) mode with the two jet fronts. I always loved Sluglinger, his unique jetmode was an absolute favourite of mine when I was young. Which is why my parents and I travelled to at least 15 different toystores to see if we could find him, which we eventually did. That was a good day :)Hanshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03442388706616569265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9163141447241149534.post-27847606770241405372009-02-17T23:23:00.000-08:002009-02-17T23:23:00.000-08:00This is very cool! Cool with the double cockpit.

That's awesome that you've got the ASA book layed out. Can't wait to see the final product. Especially with all the rumors that there will be no season 4... :(

I'm dying to get a look at some rough Derrick Wyatt sketches so I hope your throwing a pile of them in this joint!monkeytoadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05984484107546183222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9163141447241149534.post-52261911419886216282009-02-17T17:31:00.000-08:002009-02-17T17:31:00.000-08:00Very nice find The Transformations Macross like in...Very nice find
The Transformations Macross like in its almost Gerwalk modetechttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07150881291149470191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9163141447241149534.post-81223305110046066902009-02-17T12:31:00.000-08:002009-02-17T12:31:00.000-08:00These are so cool. I've always had a tough time drawing him due to a lack of reference from the cartoon.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
